San Jose police on Wednesday arrested a language tutor on suspicion of molesting a teenage student several times in a six-month period.

Thomas Reeves, 51, is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl between October 2015 and April 2016, police said. It is unclear what language the victim was being taught.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office has slapped Reeves with more than a dozen felony child molestation charges, according to police.

At the time of his arrest Wednesday, the San Jose man was already in custody on an unrelated charge, police said.
