Investigators believe there may be a link between two drive-by shootings on Interstate 80.
The latest one happened Tuesday in Pinole when the CHP said a gunman opened fire on a car - killing the male driver and injuring his female passenger. Authorities said the shooter and the victims knew each other.
Last Monday, there was a shooting on I-80 in San Pablo when a man in his car was shot multiple times. He’s expected to survive. Police believe the targets in both shootings were not random.
