OAKLAND – The numbers keep coming for the Warriors, the latest on Monday night when a 125-107 victory over New Orleans gave them back-to-back 60-win seasons for the first time in franchise history.
The Warriors (60-6) took control in the middle quarters to push their ongoing NBA-record home win streak to 49. They are 31-0 this season at Oracle Arena.
They remain one game ahead of the pace set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, whose 72-10 record that season is the best in league history.
Stephen Curry, on his 28th birthday, poured in a game-high 27 points while sitting out the fourth quarter. Klay Thompson totaled 18 points, while Marreese Speights and Draymond Green each tossed in 14 and James Michael McAdoo put in a season-high 11 points.
Warriors reserves provided a spark, contributing 55 points as all 12 players that suited up entered the scoring column as the Warriors defeated New Orleans for the 13th time in the last 14 meetings.
Forward/center Anthony Davis finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds to pace New Orleans (24-42), which has lost four in a row and eight of its past nine.

Curry’s line: 27 points (10-of-16 shooting, 4-of-9 from deep), five rebounds, five assists and two steals. He was plus-27 in 31 minutes.

Green’s line: 14 points (5-of-10 shooting, 1-of-3 from deep), team-high 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and admirable defense on Davis. Green also was plus-27 for 31 minutes.
TURNING POINT
After Davis made a jumper to pull New Orleans within two (50-48) with 3:01 left in the second quarter, the Warriors responded with a 9-2 run to close the half with a 59-50 lead.
The Warriors built off that in the second half, making a 19-5 opening run to go up 78-55 with 5:11 remaining in the third quarter. The run included Andrew Bogut’s first 3-pointer of the season and third of his career.
The Pelicans got no closer than 18 over the final 17 minutes.
