Sharks Picked Apart by Predators, Losing Streak Continues

BOX SCORE

The Sharks' losing streak has now reached six straight games as San Jose continues to hit a new low with their 7-2 loss to the Predators Saturday in Nashville.

The Predators scored twice in the first period before Patrick Marleau put the Sharks on the board in the second period. Justin Braun also found the net in the second, but Nashville matched San Jose with two goals of their own.

After taking Friday off, Martin Jones was back in the net for the Sharks. He made 26 saves while allowing seven pucks to get by him.

In the midst of their losing streak, the Sharks are still looking to officially claim a spot in the playoffs.

With the loss, the Sharks are now 42-26-7 on the season.
