At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Stephen Curry isn't a big man in the NBA, a world of giants. But to call out Curry's athletic ability is a whole different story.
Before he's even played a game in the NBA, Suns rookie Josh Jackson has already done just that.
Appearing in a video for VICE Sports on Wednesday, Jackson, who is listed at 6-foot-7 and 207 pounds, was asked which NBA player his skillset is least comparable to. "Player that I compare least to, probably Steph Curry," Jackson said. "Just because, you know, he's known as a shooter. I'm not. He's small and unathletic."
After receiving scrutiny for his comments on the two-time NBA MVP, Jackson further explained what he meant by "unathletic."
Man y'all make a story out of anything 🤦🏾♂️😂 my definition of athletic is a guy who flies through the lane and plays above the rim 🤷🏾♂️— Josh Jackson (@j_josh11) September 29, 2017

Curry's first dunk of the year last season came on March 20. At that point, he had already hit 262 3-point shots.
The Warriors first play the Suns this season on Feb. 12, 2018 at Oracle Arena.
