The San Jose Earthquakes and Devcon Construction will celebrate the completion of the stadium steel erection with a barbecue for the ironworkers. The final piece of steel will be placed in the morning. The barbecue is open to the public and will include the ironworkers on the project, Earthquakes players, coaches, front office and other members of the construction team. The event is being catered by Cosmopolitan Catering. In addition to the barbecue, the Earthquakes will give fans a chance to sign the final piece of steel for the stadium for three days prior to its installation. Fans can sign the steel beam from March 24-26 between 3:30-5:00 PM at the new stadium site. Fans interested in attending the free barbecue event must RSVP.
