LADIES NIGHT ON THE ROW: Pack your purse and call, text and tweet your girlfriends for a night of champagne tasting, appetizers and music for Rose on the Row at Santana Row in San Jose. Raise your glass for Ladies Night Out At Sino, running from 4-11 p.m.

LOSE YOUR SANITY: The classic story of a mental hospital and its patients, made famous by Jack Nicholson in the 1975 film, hits the stage in San Francisco. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, stage-style, stars Hansford Prince, Michael Torres and Susi Damilano. The curtain lifts at The SF Playhouse at 8 p.m.

SALSA THE NIGHT WAY: The longest-running salsa party in the Bay Area continues at Agenda Lounge in San Jose. Don't know how to salsa? No worries, you can learn for free then practice. The fun begins at 8 p.m. and there's no cover for the dancing with your dinner bill.

COMEDY SHOWCASE: Maybe you don't know their names yet but you'll remember the laughs. Check out some up-and-coming comics at the A-List Comedy Showcase at Our Little Theater in San Francisco. Get ready for the chuckles starting at 8 p.m.
