Weezer Singer Dons Cary LaScala

Cary Lane’s owner Cary LaScala is a man of many talents. Not only does he serve as buyer and overseer of the aforementioned Hayes Valley designer discount boutique, he is also the creative force behind a new eponymous dress shirt and bow tie label, and the drummer for local electro-pop band The Limousines.

And, as of last night, he was also a stylist of sorts to Weezer’s lead singer Rivers Cuomo, who wore one of LaScala’s gifted plaid shirts while performing with his iconic band for the second night in a row at Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium. (The Limousines were the opening act).

If your taste agrees with Cuomo’s, take a look at some images of the shirts above, and hit up Cary Lane to purchase the $65 button-ups and $25 bow ties, all which are made in San Francisco and come in five different plaid patterns, as well as solid black.
