M3.5 Earthquake Followed by Two Smaller Quakes in Pacifica: USGS

A preliminary 3.5 magnitude earthquake was followed by a pair of 2.6 magnitude quakes minutes later Tuesday morning in Pacifica, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The first quake hit at 6:01 a.m. and was centered in Pacifica. Minutes later, two more shakers, each measuring 2.6 magnitude, hit the same area at about 6:03 a.m. and 6:04 a.m., the USGS said.

No other information was immediately available.
