A shooting in Marin City left a father of three dead and two others injured Sunday morning, and authorities were still searching for the shooter, officials said Monday.
The victim, identified as 42-year-old Michael Rogers of Oakland, was walking to his car with his wife to take her to work when he was shot, NBC Bay Area has learned. Rogers's wife was grazed by a bullet, authorities said.
Deputies and fire officials said the shooting happened in the area of Cole Drive and Drake Avenue, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
The two other victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Sheriff's detectives on Monday said they've identified a person of interest in the shooting, but they did not elaborate.
Neighbors woke up to gunshots and are on edge after the second homicide of the year in the Marin City community.
"All I saw was a girl on the ground, she was crawling like a military person and a guy running," neighbor Lekisha Rivera said. "This is ridiculous the kids that have to go through this, the kids that lose their dad. ..."

Rogers and his wife were found near the car. The third victim showed up at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, sheriff's officials said.
