One of the most endearing oddities of the 2010 baseball season for San Francisco Giants' fans was the rally thong.
Here's the short version: Near the end of the season Aubrey Huff was in a slump. He borrowed a piece of his wife's underwear and all of a sudden he started hitting and the Giants started winning.
They didn't stop until they won the World Series.
Huff often credited the rally thong for the team's good fortune, but now he wants to stop the madness and "retire" the panties.
Huff told Comcast Sports Bay Area Wednesday that he was embarrassed when Major League baseball called and asked for a thong. He said he didn't want his kids to see their father wearing women's underwear when they get older.
But just for the fun of it all, below is Huff's Zoolander move at the Market Street parade. The video won't be in the Hall of Fame, but it probably will still be online for the Huff children to see in the future.
