Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz is legendary for her f-bombs. Today, she wagged her tongue again.
This time it was during a "fireside chat" with TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington in New York. The interview didn't break any new ground. Bartz said Yahoo is a content provider and that she is focused on content and ready to shed things that aren't in her sweet spot.
She told Arrington to "f--k off" when he asked her about Yahoo's growth compared to Apple and Google.
She also dropped an "s" bomb when asked about Yahoo's place in social media.
Michael Arrington asked, "Is that important to you? Are you comfortable not owning that?"
Bartz said she didn't think anyone really owned it.
"Oh, I’d love to own it — s**t, why not?" she said. "I’d love to be Queen Bubah — but I’m not."
Lori Preuitt wonders if Bartz is like Barry Bonds for Yahoo employees: She may be an a** hole, but she's our a** hole.
