PAL Blues, Arts & BBQ Festival 2014

The Redwood City PAL Blues, ARTS and BBQ Festival, presented by the Redwood City Police Activity League, brings the best of the blues to Courthouse Square in Downtown Redwood City on Friday July 25th and Saturday July 26th. The festival features musicians from the Bay Area and beyond including Rick Estrin & the Nightcats, Aki Kumar Blues Band, Tebo, Ms. Taylor P. Collins, and many more. Bringing wonderful live music, a family area with an inflatable play land for children, along with delicious food, this free festival showcases Redwood City’s Courthouse Square, as well as Redwood City’s enticing downtown merchants and restaurants.

In its eight year, the PAL Blues, ARTS and BBQ Festival also boasts some of Northern California’s finest meat offerings, to satisfy even the most discerning barbecue officiando’s cravings. Plus, the unique artist booths of ART on the Square will fill the square with stunning art on Friday evening and all day on Saturday. What a better way to enjoy a beautiful summer day than to revel in Redwood City’s glorious weather, while savoring great Blues Music, Art, food and drink!

Proceeds from this fun and exciting family festival will directly benefit the important programs of the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL). Beginning this summer PAL will offer full day Summer Camps to youth throughout the community in an effort to help prevent summer learning loss.
