Police are looking for three men who they say kidnapped a 17-year-old girl, forced her into a van and sexually assaulted her in an apparently random attack early Friday morning.

The teenager's mom called police to the 1900 block of Cooley Avenue around 1:30 a.m. to report the assault.

The girl told officers she was in front of her home when three men forced her into a black van with tinted windows.

Cmdr. Michael Stasko said the girl was taken to a location she didn't know and sexually assaulted by two of the suspects.

The men then threw her from the van, and she injured her ankle. The victim eventually made it home.

The suspects were wearing dark pants and black hooded sweatshirts.
