A preliminary 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck in Gilroy Tuesday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 4:25 p.m., according to the USGS.
A pair of small earthquakes also struck in Milpitas earlier in the day.
No other information was immediately available.
