East San Jose Shooting Now a Homicide After Man Succumbs to Injuries: Police

A man who was critically wounded in an East San Jose shooting Tuesday evening has died of his injuries, San Jose police said Wednesday.

The shooting occurred in the area of South King Road and Hermocilla Way around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

One man suffered a life-threatening injury and later died at the hospital, police said.

No suspects were identified or arrested nor was the victim's identity released.

It's the 11th homicide in San Jose this year and the third this week.

No additional information was immediately available.
