On Saturday, August 19, this campaign will include the participation of more than 50 animal shelters across the Bay Area that will offer low cost or waived pet adoption fees to help families find and adopt a new pet.
“Last year’s participation of our local shelters was tremendous with nearly 4,000 pet adoptions. We look forward to continuing success in this year’s campaign“, said Rich Cerussi, President and General Manager of NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48. “With so many abandoned animals sitting in shelters, we’re hoping families come and rescue them.”
