Weezer, the Southern California standard for rock-nerds, begins one of two nights of concerting tonight at Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium. Tickets went on sale about six weeks ago, but there are still some available. (We searched for one this morning and got in at $80.)
According to Billboard magazine, "As previously reported, Weezer will perform its self-titled debut, also known as "The Blue Album," on the first night of each tour stop, and its sophomore release, the cult favorite "Pinkerton," on the second night. The band will also play other material from its catalog after performing each album in its entirety."
And what to wear tonight? Some new, super-cheap and name-brand denim from the Rock & Republic Sample Sale. This sale, exclusive to four cities, is in SF from Nov. 26 through Dec. 5 at 128 Post Street, near Union Square.
