Sixteen firefighters assigned to the Glass Fire were evaluated for possible carbon monoxide exposure Tuesday morning, according to Cal Fire.
One of the firefighters was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, Cal Fire said. The rest were checked out by medical personnel and eventually released back to the fire line.
The possible exposure happened at a location outside of the fire area, according to Cal Fire.
