Primus Plays Red Rocks For You at Home

Primus warming up for North American tour at the Great American Music Hall.

Newly reformed East Bay rockers Primus will hit the Red Rocks Amphitheatere, arguably the most beautiful outdoor venue in the U.S., Thursday night with Gogol Bordello. And you can watch the show from the comfort of your home, office, or even bathroom.

A few hours before I boarded a plane to Colorado for the concert, an announcement popped up on the Primus Facebook page publicizing a live webcast of the show on for your viewing pleasure.

I’m still glad I’ll get to see the show in person, but the 30 percent chance of thundershowers coupled with 90 degree temperatures make me pause, and consider the ease of sitting at home in the Bay Area with a laptop and NorCal beer.

It isn't immediately clear if the webcast is free or if you have to pay for it.

Gogol Bordello takes the stage at 6:45 p.m. Pacific Time and Primus starts at 8 p.m.
