A car chase across the Bay Area late Tuesday night ended with a crash in Oakland, according to police.
It started at around 10:30 p.m. when San Francisco police saw a car they believed had been involved in a robbery earlier in the evening and attempted to pull it over, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department said. The driver then sped off and officers pursued.
Around 40 minutes later, the driver crashed into a utility pole in Oakland, according to police. SFPD said the car’s occupants then ran off on foot.
Police later arrested three people in connection with the chase, including two teenagers.
