A series of storms hitting the Bay Area has caused problems across the region.

From flooding to closed roads to fallen trees, we're tracking the major issues below.

Several trees are down at San Francisco State University. Golden Gate Xpress reports one of the trees fell on a campus maintenance vehicle.

High winds appear to have blown over a big-rig on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

Person injured by fallen tree in the Santa Cruz Mountains

A large tree crashed into a backyard shed and a detached office in the Santa Cruz Mountains, leaving one person injured, according to a neighbor. The tree came down along the 17900 block of Oak Drive.

Highway 92 reopens in Half Moon Bay

Cal Fire reports Highway 92 in Half Moon Bay has reopened after a large eucalyptus tree fell across the highway. No injuries reported.

Fallen tree blocks lanes in Sunnyvale

The No. 2 and 3 lanes of northbound Mathilda Avenue at El Camino/Olive are blocked due to a fallen tree, police said.

Arcing power lines in San Rafael

Mountain View Avenue in San Rafael is closed for arcing power lines, police said. Officers, along with PG&E and fire crews, are on scene. Mountain View Avenue is closed between Grand Avenue and Linden Lane.

Tree blocks lanes of I-280 in Millbrae

The California Highway Patrol said a fallen tree is blocking all lanes of southbound Interstate 280 just north of Millbrae Avenue in Millbrae.

Fallen tree blocks El Camino in Burlingame

A Nixle alert from the county reports a tree fell on the 1400 block of El Camino in Burlingame, police say. Officials ask residents and motorists to take alternate routes.

Tree blocking Belmont street

Police say a fallen tree is blocking eastbound Ralston Avenue at Davis Drive. Crews are en route to clear the tree.

Flight delays into SFO

Heavy winds are expected to slow arrivals to San Francisco International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration initiated a ground stop program that will see domestic arrivals delayed by an average of 80 minutes.

Downed tree takes out power lines in Santa Rosa

A large tree toppled over on a residential street Tuesday morning in Santa Rosa, taking down electrical lines and knocking out power to hundreds. The tree came down at about 3:30 a.m. on Orchard Street, near Spencer Street, leaving about 700 residents (257customers) without power, Santa Rosa fire officials said.

NB I-680 in Sunol Reopens After Big-Rig Crash

All lanes of northbound Interstate 680 in Sunol were reopened Tuesday morning after a big-rig crash was cleared at South Castlewood Boulevard. A Sig-alert was issued at 4:25 a.m., and the crash was cleared around 6:30 a.m.

Highway 9 closed in Saratoga due to rocks, tree in roadway

Highway 9 was closed Monday morning at Booker Creek Road in Saratoga due to fallen rocks and a downed tree, with no estimated time for reopening, Caltrans said.

Major damage closes Highway 84 in Woodside

Highway 84 in Woodside was shut down in both directions early Saturday from Portola Road to Skyline Boulevard due to major damage caused by a landslide, according to the sheriff's office. There was no estimated to for reopening, and officials advised motorists to use alternate routes.

Flood warning issued in Sonoma County

The National Weather Service on Saturday issued a flood warning in Sonoma County due to small stream flooding caused by rainfall. The warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday in flood-prone areas including those surrounding Green Valley Creek, the NWS said. Locations that will experience flooding include Sebastopol, Forestville and Graton.

Southbound Highway 101 south of Gilroy was shut down due to flooding. Traffic was being diverted onto 10th Street/Highway 152.

Road, water main washed out in Soquel

Dozens of homes in the Santa Cruz County community of Soquel were left without water service after storm runoff and debris washed out a road and water main.

Fallen tree damages cars in San Francisco

Highway 152, also known as Hecker Pass, was closed between Casserly Road in Watsonville and Watsonville Road in Gilroy.

Evacuations in Santa Cruz County due to flooding

Santa Cruz County authorities issued evacuations orders for Felton Grove, Paradise Park and Soquel Village due to flooding. Residents were urged to move to higher ground, and they can check their zones for evacuation orders.

Flooding shuts down I-580 in Oakland

Interstate 580 in Oakland was shut down in both directions Friday morning due to flooding between High Street and 35th Avenue, according to the CHP. All lanes have since reopened.

Highway 12 in Santa Rosa closed due to flooding

Several roads in Santa Rosa, including Highway 12, are closed due to flooding, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said.

They warned drivers to avoid driving and if they absolutely have to, to "slow down and take your time getting where you need to go."

Downed tree blocks lanes on I-280 in San Bruno

A downed tree blocks two right lanes of northbound Interstate 280 in San Bruno, the CHP says.

Lanes are blocked just south of the Crystal Springs on-ramp.

Wet weather leads to problems on I-680 in Walnut Creek

Police late Thursday afternoon are asking the public to avoid northbound Interstate 680 at Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek due to a multi-vehicle collision. Firefighters said wet roads and win are leading to multiple accidents in the area.

Santa Cruz County evacuation warning

Some low-lying areas of Santa Cruz County are under an evacuation warning due to likely flooding. This includes Felton Grove and River Grove, Paradise Park, Soquel Village, Rio Del Mar Flats, and areas along Corralitos Creek, including the College-Lake-Holohan area.

"If you flooded in January, you are likely to flood again," the county said. "Please be prepared to leave if necessary. This is a warning not an order, but leave now if you feel unsafe."

Watsonville issues evacuation warning

The city of Watsonville in Santa Cruz County issued an evacuation warning for residents in areas at risk of flooding as a storm was set to hit the coastal city Thursday. Those impacted by recent floods are considered at risk, the city said.

Newsom declares state of emergency

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday declared a state of emergency to support storm response and relief efforts in 21 counties, including five in the greater Bay Area, as an atmospheric river storm beared down on Northern California.
