VIDEO: Deadly Accident in Oakland - 2 Dead



    A motorist fleeing CHP and Oakland police exits freeway, collides with a Suburban, killing both drivers. One possible survivor. (Published Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010)

    A driver, traveling at about 90 mph and being pursued by California Highway Patrol, exited the 580W, and collided with another vehicle. 

    The driver collided with a Chevy Suburban at the intersection of 106th and MacArthur Boulevard. The Suburban "blew up," according to witnesses, while the pursued Volkswagen Jetta caught fire. That driver was dragged from his vehicle by Oakland Police. He later died at Highland Hospital.
    The driver of the Suburban was killed at the scene.
    Oakland Police is running the investigation.
