A strong storm will be clearing from the Bay Area Wednesday morning.
While the heavy rain will have moved on, much colder air aloft will be settling in -- making for a raw, breezy day today with isolated showers. Snow is possible near the coastal hills, given how cold the air is -- probably above 3,000 feet.
Wednesday afternoon the winds should begin easing off , adding a chance for a few isolated showers (and maybe some snow near 2,500 ft) with another fairly weak weather system spinning down the coast on Thursday. The computer models seem to be backing off on the precip for this system...
New Years Eve/Day looks progressively rainy again - a cool system but not expected to be anywhere as windy and rainy as our Tuesday storm.
