Sergio Romo might have grown up a Dodgers fan, but for nine years he made San Francisco his adopted home as a member of the Giants. And what a glorious nine years they were, with Romo being a member of all three World Series-winning teams. Nowhere was his presence more felt than in game four of the 2012 series, when Romo helped sweep the Tigers by striking out Miguel Cabrera for the final out.
Not only did he bring home three rings, but Romo endeared himself to fans with his warm personality and offbeat humor. Who can forget his signature Romo photo bombs and those Telenovela inspired commercials he starred in?
But now he returns to AT&T Park wearing the color of the enemy. After being told this winter that he would no longer have a spot in the Giants' bullpen, Romo signed a one-year deal with the Dodgers.
