Christmas Full Moon Lights Up Bay Area

For the first time since 1977, the moon was full on Christmas. Here are some of your photos of the full moon above the Bay Area on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

For the first time since 1977, a Full Moon appeared on Christmas in 2015.
"As we look at the moon on such an occasion, it's worth remembering that the moon is more than just a celestial neighbor," John Keller of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center said in a statement.
