Among supporters of former Congressman Tom Campbell's campaign for the Republican nomination to run against incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer for the senate in November, 98 percent don't know that he opposed Proposition 8 and supports marriage equality.
That information is from a poll by the National Organization for Marriage, which opposes allowing same-sex couples the same rights other Americans enjoy.
Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and Assemblyman Chuck DeVore will likely jump on the news to show that Campbell is out of touch with Republican voters.
Campbell currently leads the primary pack in the latest political polls.
The response of the Fiorina campaign, which has been known for psychedelic attack videos against Campbell and Boxer, should be particularly interesting to see.
