The cast of "The Whitest Kids You Know" arrives at the IFC party celebrating the spirit of independent film held at Shutters on the Beach.

They may be pale but they can still get a laugh. The boys, actually they are all grown men, from The Whitest Kids U'Know will be dropping lines and strange looks in San Francisco Tuesday night.

The New York City based sketch comedy group, who have their own show on the Independent Film Channel, will play Cobb's Comedy Club, 915 Columbus Ave. in San Francisco, at 8 p.m. The group - which consists of Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Timmy Williams, and Darren Trumeter - got their big break on the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in 2006 and won for "Best Sketch Group" by the Jury.

The rest has been history. Their wildly popular cable show has developed a cult following that draws crowds across the country when they perform live. Their humor is witty, borderline crude at time and sometimes just in bad taste but they are clever with their observations and ability to get a laugh.

Tickets are still available and can be had at Cobbs Comedy Club on line.
