Daly City Mudslide, Flood, Evacuations

Residents had to evacuate on Nov. 12, 2012, when mud and water began streaming down Daly City's Lusanne Avenue in the Hillside Park area. Firefighters said that an 8-inch cast iron pipe attached to a 978,000-gallon water tank ruptured, causing 45,000 gallons of water to spew out.
