A judge could rule as soon as Thursday on a legal challenge involving the San Francisco Police lab drug-skimming scandal that could end up unraveling hundreds of drug cases.

The legal challenge comes from an attorney representing a man accused of selling cocaine.
If the judge rules important information was withheld, hundreds more cases could be dismissed, adding to 250 cases already dismissed because of the scandal.
