Police say that a man entered a Wells Fargo in Cupertino, forced his way behind the counter, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
San Jose police are seeking a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank this afternoon, a police spokesman said.
The robbery was reported at about 2:50 p.m. at the bank located at 575 West Capitol Expressway, San Jose police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.
An Asian man in his 20s who was wearing dark clothing walked into the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. No weapon was seen during the robbery, Lopez said.
The teller complied with the demand, and the man fled from the bank on foot. He was not found by responding officers, Lopez said.
No one was injured during the incident.
