BART union leaders will hold a news conference Monday morning to give an update on where negotiations stand from their side.
The press conference is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. BART and its unions are more than three weeks into a 60-day cooling off period ordered by Gov. Jerry Brown.
The unions said BART management continues to delay bargaining and refuses to engage in meaningful negotiations.
"We are eager to hear from the unions about our last offer which to date has gone unanswered," said James K. Allison, who is from the BART communications department. "The mediators have set a negotiation schedule which resumes bargaining sessions starting the ninth. We are eager to hear from the unions about our last offer which to date has gone unanswered."
