The Alembic has created original cocktails to pair with popular Girl Scout Cookie flavors.

The popular Haight Street bar will offer a rotation of four drinks, each paired with two Girl Scout Cookies beginning Tuesday.

While this is the second year that The Alembic has offered Girl Scout Cookie pairings, bartender Larry Piaskowy has crafted all new cocktails for this year's season. Each drink is meant to bring out characteristics of the cookies rather than mimic their flavors.

Offerings include Girl From Ipanema, an original take on a caiprinha to match the caramel and coconut notes of the Samoa cookie; Broken Bagpipe, a Laphroiag whisky-led cocktail served with the peanut butter Do-Si-Do; Mr. Kipling's Flip, a tipple with brandy and cream that goes with Shortbread; and Some Like It Hot, a tequila and coffee concoction paired with Thin Mints (see recipe below).

Each pairing costs $13. Piaskowy says they should be available for 3-4 weeks — or until all the cookies are gone.
