Wages in San Francisco increased more than in nearly every other American city in the last quarter, according to a survey of major metro areas.
Average pay increased by about 1.5 percent in San Francisco, according the San Francisco Chronicle. Top city was Minneapolis, where paychecks jumped by 1.9 percent.
Seattle, where pay bumped up by 1.6 percent, claimed the No. 2 slot.
Nationwide -- adjusting for inflation -- wages have dipped 8 percent since 2006.
